Information of Finland for foreigners

View from a Finnish lake
Matkamies.com (direct translation "travel man".com) is my personal website. I write here about journeys to foreign countries where me and my wife have visited after year 1999. Most of all, Matkamies.com is a travel diary for us. Still, according to feedback received from some Finns, many have found stories written on this site quite entertaining or even beneficial for them when planning their own trips. Unfortunately it's all written in Finnish. You can still check out travel photos by clicking a link "Matkakuvia".

Finnish Phrasebook Even though many Finns understand and talk English, it might be a good idea to learn at least some Finnish phrases.
